At Soundcheck, a growing startup in the music industry, I’ve worn many hats—leading both product design and brand direction. From designing the app experience and building the design system to creating the brand identity, logo, and social media presence, I’ve shaped how Soundcheck looks, feels, and communicates. My role bridges strategy and execution, ensuring the product not only works seamlessly for musicians and managers but also resonates as a brand with personality and clarity.

  • Good design isn’t about making complex systems look simple. It’s about making complexity survivable — especially for people who are tired, busy, or under pressure.

  • Across aerospace, enterprise software, and live events, I learned that design only works if it respects the conditions people are actually in — stress, speed, uncertainty — not the conditions we wish they had.

  • Whether I was designing for pilots, procurement teams, or musicians backstage, the lesson was the same: systems don’t fail because they’re complex — they fail when design ignores human limits.

  • AI became useful to me the moment I stopped treating it as automation and started treating it like a collaborator — fast, tireless, and opinionated.
